Assistant Manager

Role Objective / Major Purpose of the Job:
To support project finance and operational activities by assisting in budgeting, financial analysis, cost tracking, reporting, and data management. The role ensures accurate financial information, timely project documentation, and effective coordination with project teams to support informed decision-making and successful project execution.

Principal Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation and monitoring of project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
Support financial modelling activities and perform basic financial analysis for projects.
Track project costs, expenses, and budget variances to ensure financial control.
Prepare project reports, feasibility analysis data, and financial documentation.
Collect, validate, and maintain project-related financial and operational data.
Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
Coordinate with project teams, finance teams, and other stakeholders for timely data collection and reporting.
Support review of project performance against budgets and financial targets.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial records and project documents.
Assist in process improvements related to reporting, analysis, and cost management.

Key Skills & Competencies
Functional / Technical:
Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
Basic knowledge of financial modelling and budgeting techniques.
Understanding of cost tracking and financial reporting processes.
Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain data accuracy.
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
