About this role
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
- Develop and execute API automation test scripts using REST Assured.
- Validate REST APIs, including request/response payloads, status codes, headers, authentication, and error handling.
- Work with AWS Cloud environments and perform testing of cloud-hosted applications and services.
- Validate application functionality across different environments, including development, QA, staging, and production.
- Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Identify, report, track, and troubleshoot defects using tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and testing scenarios.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure test coverage, maintain automation scripts, and continuously improve testing processes.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java .
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of TestNG or JUnit.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing using REST Assured .
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API validations.
- Experience working with AWS Cloud services and cloud-based application environments .
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application testing.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts.
