About this role

Are you a commercially driven finance professional who enjoys being close to the business, challenging decisions and turning financial insights into tangible results? Do you thrive in a role where you can influence commercial strategies, partner with senior stakeholders and take ownership of financial performance? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

As a Customer Finance Business Partner, you will join Arla's Swedish Sales Finance organization in Stockholm, acting as a trusted financial partner to one of our Customer Sales Directors and their customer team. You will be part of a team of three Customer Finance Business Partners, reporting directly to the Head of Sales Retail Finance.

In this role, you will take a key position in driving the financial agenda for one of Arla's major retail customers, working closely with senior commercial stakeholders and Key Account Managers. Combining financial expertise with strong commercial understanding, you will challenge the business, identify opportunities and contribute to profitable growth. You will also take financial ownership of one of Arla's product categories, helping shape its long-term performance.

How You Will Make an Impact

As Finance Business Partner to a Customer Sales Director, you will be a key contributor to commercial decision-making, acting as a proactive sparring partner rather than simply reporting on financial performance.

Your key responsibilities will include

- Acting as a trusted finance partner to the Customer Sales Director and senior Key Account Managers, providing financial guidance and constructively challenging commercial decisions.
- Driving the financial agenda for a key customer account, with a strong focus on profitability, performance and long-term business development.
- Leading financial forecasting, performance analysis and risk assessments, translating financial data into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Evaluating customer agreements, promotional activities and commercial initiatives to ensure financially sound decisions and sustainable profitability.
- Developing and challenging business cases to support customer negotiations, investments and strategic commercial initiatives.
- Identifying financial risks, opportunities and performance gaps, proactively recommending improvements and corrective actions.
- Acting as the financial Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for one of Arla's product categories, taking ownership of its financial performance and supporting category strategy and development.
- Supporting financial reporting and monthly closing activities, ensuring reliable financial information and effective performance follow-up.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders to improve business performance.
- Driving continuous improvements in financial processes, analytical tools and reporting to strengthen commercial decision-making.

What Will Make You Successful

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional with a solid financial foundation and the confidence to act as a true business partner. You understand the numbers, but more importantly, you know how to use them to influence decisions and drive business results.

You bring

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Business Controlling, FP&A, or a similar business-oriented finance role.
- Proven experience working closely with Sales, Key Account Management, or other commercial functions, supporting and challenging business decisions.
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including forecasting, profitability analysis, financial reporting, and business case evaluation.
- Solid commercial acumen and the ability to understand the financial drivers behind customer and category performance.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial data and analytical models.
- Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), Power BI, or similar financial reporting and analytical tools is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is considered an advantage.
- Experience from FMCG, retail or another commercially driven industry is highly desirable.

Who You Are

You are a driven, curious and commercially oriented individual who enjoys being at the heart of the business. You are motivated by understanding what drives performance and have the confidence to challenge established ways of working. You combine strong analytical thinking with an ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and turn insights into action.

You are

- Commercially curious You have a genuine interest in customers, sales and the business drivers behind financial performance.
- Proactive and ambitious You take initiative, identify opportunities and are motivated by making a tangible impact.
- Analytical and results-oriented You enjoy working with numbers but focus on translating analysis into meaningful business outcomes.
