Global Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to the Aperam Recycling COO, in this pivotal role, you will identify and lead improvements projects for end‑to‑end logistics and supply‑chain operations. Leveraging deep experience in the metals sector and global supply‑chain management, you will implement Microsoft Dynamics 365, harmonise freight processes, optimise transport costs and working capital, and ensure reliable material flow across our international network while supporting sustainability and recycling initiatives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience, at least 7 years of professional experience as a Global Supply Chain Manager in the industry sector
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)
- Demonstrated success in freight process harmonization and transport‑cost optimization
- Strong background in working‑capital optimization and international logistics
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus. Other additional languages are also a plus
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities
- Track record of implementing cost‑reduction and efficiency projects across multi‑site networks
- Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export compliance and carrier management
- The role involves travelling for work; initially 60–50%, and thereafter around 50%. Travel within and outside the EU
