Reconciliation & Corporate Action Officer Associate

Overview

The successful candidate will control day-to-day operational functions of Corporate Action / Reconciliations and provide quality client service by prompt responses to queries and ensuring accuracy in corporate action processing and client entitlement.

What you’ll be doing

Key responsabilities will be:

- Perform all administrative tasks related to securities where the Bank acts as Listing/Paying Agent

- Reconcile daily cash, securities, and derivatives positions across nostro and transit accounts

- Monitor and follow up on daily Money Market and FX matching

- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies with Finance and Operations teams

- Ensure Corporate Action announcements are captured accurately, completely, and on time

- Process mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions within deadlines, ensuring timely release to clients/depositories and compliance with SLAs

- Monitor Corporate Action entitlements and proactively follow up to ensure timely receipt

- Follow up with clients on outstanding voluntary Corporate Action instructions

- Respond to client queries within agreed timeframes and identify reporting/service enhancements to improve client satisfaction

- Escalate operational incidents, losses, or complaints promptly to the Team Leader.

Who we are looking for

If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

- 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position

- Bachelor degree (minimum Bac+2) related to the area of expertise

- Good knowledge of market practices related to Corporate Actions

- Good knowledge of listing and paying agency activities

- Good knowledge of cash, securities and nostro account reconciliations

- Good knowledge of computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook

- Familiar with SWIFT messages and with Banking Accounting

- Good understanding of banking operations and related processes

- Familiar with reconciliation systems

- French: Fluent (written and spoken); English: Advanced (written and spoken); Italian: Good (written and spoken).
