About this role
Social Media & Marketing Manager
As the Social Media & Marketing Manager with HVMG, you'll lead the digital presence, content strategy and local marketing for four downtown Winston-Salem venues: Butcher & Bull, Marriott Winston-Salem, The Rooftop Lounge at Courtyard and Benton Convention Center. You'll give each venue its own voice and content plan, and you'll create cross-promotions that link dining, lodging, entertainment and events for guests. You'll work within Marriott brand standards for the hotels and within established brand guidelines for the restaurant, rooftop lounge and convention center.
If you're a creative, outgoing storyteller who loves hospitality, enjoys being on-site where the action is and can juggle multiple brands at once, this role offers the chance to shape how downtown Winston-Salem experiences four of its standout venues. You'll report to the HVMG Director / Area Leader and work closely with each venue's General Manager.
Your Four Venues
Butcher & Bull: Grow reservations, covers and private events. You'll promote seasonal and holiday menus, tell food and chef stories, optimize the restaurant's online profiles, and lead local press, influencer, email and event marketing.
Marriott Winston-Salem: Grow direct bookings, group and wedding leads, and reviews. You'll promote packages, tie in local events and run M Club programming, all within Marriott Bonvoy brand standards.
The Rooftop Lounge at Courtyard: Bring in after-work and weekend crowds for happy hour, live music, themed nights and private buyouts. Your main tools will be short-form video and event promotion, all within Courtyard brand guidelines.
Benton Convention Center: Generate qualified booking leads, event attendance and community visibility. You'll manage the venue's LinkedIn presence and content, cover events on-site and co-market with Visit Winston-Salem.
Cross-Property: Create bundled offers, a shared downtown event calendar, convention attendee welcome campaigns and coordinated content shoots that expand reach and keep production efficient.
