ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC
Xtreme Manufacturing is looking for mechanically inclined individuals to assemble parts for our telescopic handler, forklift, and delivery truck line of equipment.
Xtreme Manufacturing, LLC is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada and offers the largest product line of rough terrain telescopic handlers (telehandlers) in North America. Spanning 15 models, with lifting capacities ranging from 5,900 lbs. (2,676kg) to 70,000 lbs. (31,751kg), and maximum lift heights of up to 70 ft. (21.3m), Xtreme Manufacturing has a telehandler suited to virtually any application and environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-assemble and install parts including, but not limited to axles, hydraulic components, radiators, bearings, hoses, wiring, tires, engines, and cabs
- Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies
- Read and interpret assembly blueprints
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude : Intermediate understanding of mechanical systems, assemblies, and how parts function together.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify assembly issues and devise solutions.
- Attention to Detail : Following schematics, order of operations, and quality standards.
- Hand/Electrical Tool Proficiency : Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. (i.e. Impact guns, sockets, wrenches, VOM)
- Reliability: Reliable transportation, punctuality, and ready to perform.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of shop or field service experience on construction equipment.
- Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings
- Preferred but not required the ability to read Electric & Hydraulic Schematics
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment
Certifications (Preferred)
- ASE Certified Mechanical Technician
- Forklift Operator
- Overhead Cranes and Rigging
- Boom/Scissor Lift
- OSHA 10
- Warehouse/Assembly Line is a PLUS
