About this role

Arctic Kingdom creates once-in-a-lifetime journeys in Canada's North. Our family of experiences includes Blachford Lake Lodge, a fly-in wilderness lodge near Yellowknife known for world-class aurora viewing; Arctic Kingdom Expeditions in the high Arctic; and Torngat Mountains Base Camp in northern Labrador. We are guided by our values: Expertise, Collaboration, Excellence in Service, and Respect for Place & People.

Position Summary

The Aurora and Expedition Consultant is the trusted advisor who turns interest in the North into confirmed, well-prepared guests. The role carries equal weight in consultative sales and guest experience: converting inbound leads and travel-agent business into bookings, then guiding each guest from booking through onboarding, add-ons, post-trip follow-up and rebooking.

Every interaction supports marketing results, conversion, repeat bookings and referrals. The role carries an individual sales target, is measured on response time, cancellation and rebooking rates, and combines wilderness product knowledge with warmth, accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert inbound leads and group inquiries into bookings using HubSpot, responding to booking and group inquiries within one business day.

- Conduct discovery calls by phone or video and prepare customized proposals and quotes.

- Provide post-booking guest support and recommend add-on experiences, such as private aurora viewing and guided fishing.

- Manage travel agent relationships, including quotes, contracts, invoicing, payments, changes, and cancellations.

- Conduct post-trip follow-up, including guest surveys, review requests, referrals, and rebooking offers.

- Travel to Blachford Lake Lodge for product knowledge trips and represent the company at select travel trade events.

- Communicate guest feedback and insights to the Marketing and Product teams.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in consultative sales, luxury or adventure travel, or premium guest experience, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.

- Strong CRM management skills; HubSpot experience preferred.

- Excellent written communication skills, with a warm, accurate, and persuasive style.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.

- A strong interest in wilderness travel and willingness to travel to remote northern locations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience selling through travel agents or tour operators.

- Familiarity with Arrows, DocuSign, Sprout Social, Asana, or Canto.
