Position overview

allnex invites you to join the GBS Procurement team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia as an Indirect Procurement Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for reporting, analytics, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive and optimise procurement strategies. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our procurement operations.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and update supplier master data and pricing information in SAP to support procurement operations.

- Create and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring timely processing and follow-up where required.

- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, while identifying and implementing preventive measures to minimise recurrence.

- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to eliminate non-value-added activities and enhance operational efficiency.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Accounting, Data Management, and Logistics, to ensure seamless procurement processes.

- Support supplier onboarding to the Ariba Network and provide training to suppliers and internal stakeholders on electronic document exchange.

- Partner with suppliers to resolve operational issues, including pricing discrepancies, delivery challenges, and complaints.

- Generate procurement reports and perform data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage supplier communications through mass mailing campaigns and announcements.

- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on indirect procurement processes, systems, and transactional activities.

Required skills and experience

- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

- Fluent in English and Mandarin, to support our operations in Greater China.

- Experience in Procurement Operations or Procurement Support is an added advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Procurement or a related field.
