About this role
The Senior Specialist - Contracts will be responsible for end‑to‑end contract management activities within the Finance – Ports Cluster department of Al Yaher Recruitment and Manpower Services Ltd. The role centers on the Fujairah Terminals expansion programme, ensuring that all capital works, equipment and service contracts are procured, awarded and administered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with AD Ports Group policies and UAE regulations.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Quantity Surveying , Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Language Skills:
- High level of proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role
Nature of Experience:
- Experience in pre-award and post-award contract management, preferably on major port, marine or infrastructure capital projects.
- Sound working knowledge of FIDIC and EPC forms of contract, variations and claims management.
- Good knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards
- Ability to understand strategic issues and hold an overall perspective of the organization.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
