About this role
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Functional Testing, SQL, and Web Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, the ability to validate application functionality, and experience in automating web-based applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing to ensure applications meet business and functional requirements.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts.
- Perform hands-on web application automation testing.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and verify database integrity.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Perform regression, retesting, and end-to-end testing.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Functional Testing .
- Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation .
- Hands-on experience in Web Automation Testing .
- Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, defect life cycle, and STLC.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience in API Testing.
- Knowledge of API automation frameworks and tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
- Understanding of API validation, request/response handling, and integration testing.
