About this role
This exciting role as a Software Implementation consultant in our Configuration group will work as part of a team to support and configure our Wire and Cable software for our customers.
This role focuses on:
- UI based configuration elements of the Implementation
- More technical elements of the Implementation which will require knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and authoring of data collection forms using XML
- Supporting our customers and relationship building

We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent English skills, combined with fluency in German . This role offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the EMEA region and contribute to a dynamic, multicultural team.
Skills Required/Desired:
- Experience: Minimum commercial experience of 2 years. Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus.
- Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent also a plus.
Education: The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
Required skills, knowledge and characteristics based on responsibilities:
- A high level of numeracy
- Strong working knowledge of Excel required
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
- Familiarity with web-based applications
- Ability to learn new software applications rapidly
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role
- Previous experience working in teams for project delivery, a plus
- Previous experience in a customer facing role within a private sector company environment, a plus
- Experience in the field of Sustainability (both management and reporting), Supply Chain, or Environmental Health and Safety is a distinct advantage.
Technical Configuration:
- Experience with relational databases and use of SQL
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and XML are ideal
