About this role

Syensqo is all about chemistry. We’re not just referring to chemical reactions here, but also to the magic that occurs when the brightest minds get to work together. This is where our true strength lies. In you. In your future colleagues and in all your differences. And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.

Role and Responsibilities

The Site Raw Material Planner is responsible for ensuring reliable availability of raw and packaging materials to support safe, efficient production at the Syensqo Winder plant. The role translates production requirements into executable material supply and delivery plans, manages material replenishment and inventory parameters, and coordinates with suppliers, Procurement, Production, Planning, and Supply Chain Operations to prevent shortages and excess inventory.

The role also drives improvement in inbound and outbound transportation scheduling adherence at Winder by monitoring performance, identifying recurring causes of missed appointments or schedule changes, and leading corrective actions with the appropriate site and logistics stakeholders. Day-to-day shipment execution and carrier sourcing remain with the designated Supply Chain Operations and Procurement owners.

Experience and Skills

Own the raw and packaging materials plan aligned to the plant production schedule, demand changes, material lead times, and operating constraints.

•  Execute assigned material replenishment and purchasing transactions, including purchase orders, delivery confirmations, expediting and de-expediting to maintain production continuity.

•  Manage raw material inventory planning, target and safety-stock parameters, and actions to limit shortages, overstock, obsolescence, and unnecessary working capital.

•  Monitor supplier commitments, inbound material availability, and potential disruptions; communicate risks early and coordinate recovery plans with Production, Planning, Procurement, and suppliers.

•  Maintain accurate planning inputs in SAP and resolve material-related master-data, inventory, or transaction discrepancies with the responsible teams.

•  Coordinate with site teams and logistics partners to align planned inbound material arrivals with production needs, receiving capacity, and site scheduling constraints.

•  Own performance monitoring and improvement of inbound and outbound transportation scheduling adherence at Winder, including appointment reliability, recurring delays, and schedule changes.

•  Analyze causes of transportation scheduling failures and independently lead cross-functional corrective actions to improve schedule discipline, communication, and site readiness; escalate carrier or network issues to Logistics and Procurement.

•  Maintain actionable materials and transportation scheduling performance reporting, lead assigned process improvements, and communicate progress and risks clearly to site and Supply Chain leadership.

•  Follow all applicable site safety, environmental, quality, and compliance procedures when planning material receipts and coordinating transportation interfaces.
