Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Location : San Jose, Costa Rica- Hybrid

Segment : Global IT

Direct Report To : Sr Manager Infrastructure Hosting Services

We are looking for a Infrastructure Automation Engineer to automate the majority of our Infrastructure Hosting workload. You will build automations that replace manual, ticket-driven tasks with reliable, repeatable, and auditable processes, delivered as self-service requests to the business.

Must-Have

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or automation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, identity, and governance).
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including repositories, YAML pipelines, service connections, and agents.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (for example Terraform, Bicep/ARM, PowerShell, Python).
- Experience automating on-premises infrastructure (for example Windows/Linux servers, VMware, or storage) and hybrid connectivity to Azure.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication for system-to-system integration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have

- ServiceNow development experience (Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Orchestration/IntegrationHub, REST integrations, custom forms).
- Experience with configuration management tools (for example Ansible, DSC).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, and CMDB.
- Azure certifications (for example AZ-104, AZ-400).
