## About the role

Join our R&D Product Delivery & Maintenance team and help provide ongoing scientific and technical support across a portfolio of Reckitt products. You’ll deliver projects, support and develop a small team, and collaborate closely with Supply, Regulatory, Marketing and R&D teams to enable brand growth, compliance and product defence

Responsible for providing R&D support for a designated portfolio of Reckitt products to enable brand protection, revenue growth, product compliance, and continuous improvement. The role requires effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including Supply, Regulatory, Local and Global Marketing, and R&D Category teams, to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing product support.

The incumbent will be accountable for managing all technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring that activities are delivered in compliance with quality, regulatory, safety, and business requirements. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

The role requires experience supporting products within regulated categories such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or consumer health products. A strong theoretical and practical understanding of product technologies, development processes, and applicable regulatory standards is highly desirable.

In addition, the position is responsible for effective budget planning, monitoring, and control to ensure optimal resource utilization and project delivery. This role is based in Bangplee and reports to the R&D PDM Manager .

Your responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations, activities, budget, and performance of the team.

- Develop and drive team strategy and prioritize activities in alignment with business objectives and stakeholder plans.

- Support the Manager in measuring, tracking, and reporting KPIs to senior management.

- Partner with the R&D Manager to develop and execute strategies for the ongoing support and maintenance of designated brands.

- Collaborate with global R&D teams to share best practices, leverage expertise, and drive continuous improvement.

- Support cross-functional initiatives and business projects as required.

- Provide support to global teams in maintenance activities, audit preparations, compliance requirements, and other assigned activities.

- Support Technical (or Supply) Project Leaders to ensure R&D activities are executed in accordance with quality, regulatory, and compliance standards for registered products.

- Ensure compliance in laboratory and stability management activities, obtaining support from the wider R&D PDM team when required.

- Ensure all technical aspects of product development and maintenance are delivered within agreed timelines, with any risks or issues escalated to the line manager in a timely manner.

- Ensure all development activities comply with applicable legislative, health & safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including HALAL standards where applicable.

- Lead the preparation, review, approval, and distribution of technical reports throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Lead and supervise analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to support stability testing, industrial trials, method validation, and continuous product improvement.

- Ensure all required formulation development, feasibility studies, analytical testing, validation activities, stability testing, industrial trials, claims substantiation, and dossier preparation are completed on time and in accordance with required standards.

- Drive technical excellence and ensure adherence to R&D processes, governance, and quality standards across all assigned projects.

The experience we're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, Product Development, or Product Maintenance.

- Experience in FMCG, Consumer Health, OTC, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industries is preferred.

- Strong project management and team leadership skills.

- Good problem-solving and prioritization abilities.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Supply, Regulatory, Quality, and Marketing.

- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and HALAL requirements.

- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

- Able to manage multiple projects and deliver results within agreed timelines.
