About this role
The Inventory Clerk assists the Inventory Control Manager in overseeing and maintaining Surf Broadband Solutions supply of products and equipment. This position involves keeping track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and assisting in the unloading and processing deliveries as well as delivery of stock.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and stock all new inventory.
- Load and deliver biweekly inventory shipments to Surf Internet offices in Troy Grove, IL; Byron Center, MI; Howell, MI; Elkhart, IN; and Muncie, IN - off-cycle deliveries may be required as needed
- Complete inventory transfers based on delivered product/equipment
- Actively maintain order and organization of inventory at all Surf Internet warehouses
- Disperse inventory supplies to Service Delivery Technicians during the biweekly tech meeting.
- Maintain the inventory database is Operating and Billing systems
- Assist with monthly inventory reconciliation for all Surf Internet warehouse inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Surf Internet warehouses and inventory office spaces
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain "For Hire" endorsement on driver's license upon hire
- Must be able to pass a DOT medical physical
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Professional in appearance.
- Ability to work alone and be able to evaluate the work completed to assure its quality.
- Ability to work in a safe and effective manner and keep the work area clean at all times.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 70lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete small tasks and larger projects without direct supervision.
