Serve as the Product Owner for assigned systems and capabilities. Translate business needs into product priorities, requirements, workflows, and measurable outcomes. Own the backlog and roadmap, coordinate stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors, and guide work from analysis through release and operational support. Evaluate business impact, dependencies, controls, testing, readiness, and performance. Work independently and serve as a key contributor on complex initiatives affecting member experience, risk, compliance, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, systems analysis, Security, or a related technology role.
- Advanced knowledge of product ownership, requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience partnering with software engineering and technical teams; programming or software development experience is not required.
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives with business, operational, risk, or control impacts.
- Knowledge of system integrations, data flows, technical dependencies, controls, testing, release readiness, and operational support.
- Experience using performance measures, cost-benefit analysis, and other analytical methods to support prioritization and decisions.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, decision-making, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across business, technical, vendor, and management audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively while meeting delivery commitments.
- Proficiency with standard productivity, presentation, spreadsheet, and work-management tools.
