We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the development of automation and additive manufacturing systems. This role involves creating mechanical designs from concept through to fabrication, assembly, and implementation. You will play a key role in designing mechanical components, mechanisms, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies specifically for automation and additive manufacturing applications.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of automation and additive manufacturing systems.
- Design mechanical components, mechanisms, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies.
- Work on designing additive manufacturing equipment.
- Design mechanisms involving motors, actuators, bearings, linear motion systems, gearboxes, belts, chains, and other motion components.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Solidworks.
- Experience with fixture and tooling design.
- Knowledge of fabrication equipment and processes.
- Strong mechanical design skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with mechanical components such as actuators, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Familiarity with belts and other motion components.

This is a Contract position based out of Broomfield, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
