About this role
In this role, you will:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, kitting, and cycle counting.
- Establish the process to operate and maintain our warehouse equipment in optimum condition through KPIs to ensure continuous improvement in cost, service, quality, and safety.
- Work closely with other Team Leads and Program/Project Managers to ensure their team stays aligned with Zoox’s overall goals.
- Manage and mentor 7-10 direct reports to execute and deliver to Zoox’s high standards.
- Develop and implement the safety guidelines to ensure team safety.
- Execute second-shift warehouse operations to ensure on-time material delivery to production at efficient cost.
- Track KPIs against budget and drive corrective actions when performance is off target.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience in a product-based warehouse or logistics environment
- 3+ years of experience leading 7-10 direct reports
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - SAP preferred
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience working with SAP (S4 Hana highly preferred)
- Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing operations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an NPI environment
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
