Developing electric vehicles that are intelligent and connected, BYD is inaugurating a new age of automotive innovation featuring a sleek design and an innovative user experience.About the RoleBased at BYD's Sydney warehouse in Prestons and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our Aftersales Operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations across Sydney and Brisbane.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Coordinate daily warehouse operations across Sydney and Brisbane, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching automotive parts.Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) regularly.Track and record all stock movements, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely system updates.Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfilment.Manage stock discrepancies, damaged goods and returns in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate regular stocktakes, investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions where required.Ensure warehouse operations comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).Respond to daily dealer enquiries regarding parts availability, order status and deliveries, ensuring timely and professional communication.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Automotive or a related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination, preferably within the automotive parts industry.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of warehouse equipment and its operation will be highly regarded.HOW TO APPLYIf you believe you are a good fit for the role, please don't hesitate to click on APPLY and submit your updated resume. BYD Australia is under rapid expansion with plenty more opportunities to arise.
