We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation

A quality-focused Test Automation Engineer who can drive end-to-end testing activities, build robust automation frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality web and service-based applications through effective testing strategies and continuous improvement.

You'll make a difference by:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript-based tools such as Cypress.
• Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and service-based applications.
• Creating, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Conducting API testing and validating integration points across distributed systems.
• Performing protocol testing and ensuring compliance with application communication standards.
• Implementing and enhancing automation frameworks using industry-standard approaches such as Page Object Model (POM) and Data-Driven Frameworks.
• Collaborating with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated test executions within deployment workflows.
• Utilizing Git and version control best practices for test automation development and collaboration.
• Maintaining test documentation, test suites, and quality metrics while driving continuous testing improvements.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in testing web and service-based applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automation testing tools such as Cypress.
• Experience in API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Good understanding of protocol testing and communication validation.
• Experience with automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM) and Data-Driven Frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience in manual testing, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software testing life cycles, quality assurance processes, and test methodologies.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in System Testing and Performance Testing.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of automation framework optimization and reporting mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of performance monitoring and quality metrics.

• Engineering degree in B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in Automation Testing.
• Good understanding of Agile processes and software testing methodologies.
• Strong quality orientation with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in managing test suites, test documentation, and test execution processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of testing deliverables.
