About Allocator

Allocator is the data platform built solely with Institutional LPs in mind, serving leading endowments,
foundations, pension funds, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, private banks and fund of funds
across the world in their endeavours to make the best possible investment decisions, safe in the
knowledge they've used every available piece of information and data to do so.
We help the largest asset allocators replace spreadsheets and manual research with a single data set
spanning accounting, performance and transparency across their entire alternative allocation by
monitoring hedge funds and private capital funds of all strategies.
We're growing fast (10x revenue in 5 years), with 60% of our clients based in the US, ahead of us
establishing a dedicated presence there.

The Role
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you'll own a book of existing institutional clients once they have
passed their first year on the platform. Your job is to own those relationships, secure them, and grow
them. You'll work directly with COOs, CFOs, Heads of Data, and Investment teams at the largest
allocators in the world.

We run a strong land and expand motion. Often clients start with part of their portfolio or one use case,
and the larger opportunity comes after. You'll identify, prospect, and run those expansions yourself,
with the potential to grow an account's value 2-4x after the initial implementation. Our clients are
institutional allocators, asset owners and GP-LPs and a real understanding of how they invest and
operate is central to ensuring accounts grow.

What You'll Own

- Relationship ownership: be the senior, trusted point of contact for every account in your book,
building coverage across COO, CFO, data, and Investment teams so no account rests on a single
champion

- Renewals: secure every renewal by running it as a sales cycle from six months out, covering
value review, stakeholder mapping, commercial proposal, negotiation, and signature

- Expansion (upsells & backsales): increase volumes of existing services plus sell additional
products and services into existing accounts the way a new business seller would. You'll identify
the opportunity, prospect into new teams and stakeholders, and run the full cycle through to
signature, with the aim of growing account values significantly

- Business reviews: lead regular reviews with key client stakeholders, showing usage, data
coverage, and the value delivered, and use them to open the next expansion conversation

- Account health: spot risk early (usage, data quality, champion changes, competitor activity) and
run save plans before a renewal is in play

- Handover from new business: take accounts over from the new business team, and partner
with Customer Success and Data to keep delivery on track

- Feed the business: surface product gaps, expansion signals, and competitive intelligence to
Product and GTM leadership

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years as an Account Manager owning a book of existing enterprise clients, with a track
record of retaining and growing them against a number

- Experience at enterprise spend levels: you have managed clients spending between $250k and
$1m USD per year, and negotiated renewals and expansions at that scale with procurement,
legal, and finance all involved

- Strong knowledge of the buy-side: you understand private markets, hedge funds, and capital
markets, and how institutional investors operate

- A proven expansion record: you have found, prospected, and closed new products or services
into existing accounts, not just renewed them

- Strong commercial and business-case skills: you can quantify the value a client is getting and
use it to grow the account

- A builder's mindset: you'll shape how account management works here, not inherit a finished
playbook

Nice to Have

- Direct experience working with institutional LPs: funds of funds, secondaries funds, pension
funds, endowments, or similar allocators

- Experience with data, analytics, or portfolio management software sold to the buy-side

- Familiarity with secondaries, fund-of-funds structures, or private markets reporting workflows
