The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is seeking an experienced project management professional to lead and coordinate façade package delivery on a major stadium programme in Riyadh.
The position will combine package management with hands-on construction oversight, ensuring design information, interfaces and site delivery are effectively coordinated. The meeting described this as a delivery-focused role covering normal package management activities, with a significant site presence.

Your responsibilities will include:

•    Manage façade packages through the construction and delivery stages.
•    Coordinate façade design information and ensure information is available to support site activities.
•    Monitor contractor progress, quality and programme performance.
•    Manage interfaces between façade works, structure and other construction packages.
•    Identify package constraints and coordinate their resolution.
•    Maintain regular site presence and monitor construction progress.
•    Coordinate contractors, designers, consultants and project stakeholders.
•    Monitor package risks and escalate emerging delivery issues.
•    Support planning, sequencing and implementation of façade works.
•    Provide package reporting to senior project leadership.
•    Drive works towards successful completion and handover.

You’ll need to have:
•    Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, project management or another relevant built-environment discipline.
•    Appropriate professional membership or chartership desirable.
•    Strong project or package management experience on major building projects.
•    Demonstrable façade delivery experience.
•    Strong understanding of façade design, procurement, interfaces and construction.
•    Experience working through both design coordination and on-site execution.
•    Strong contractor-management and stakeholder-management skills.
•    Able to operate effectively between technical, design and construction teams.
•    Major stadium, complex building or major programme experience advantageous.
•    Saudi Arabia or wider Middle East experience advantageous.
