About this role
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Micron is expanding and modernizing its global footprint, and physical security technology has to keep pace. Sites today run a mix of systems at different ages and maturity levels. Our goal is a consistent, standards-based security infrastructure everywhere we operate, covering video surveillance and analytics, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and perimeter protection. Modern security systems are connected, technology-based platforms, and we want them deployed on predictable schedules and managed as a product, not a collection of one-off projects.
In partnership with the Global Security Operations leadership team, you will own that rollout end to end: planning, sequencing, site readiness, execution, and measurement. You will treat security operators and site leaders as your customers, gather their requirements, and make sure what we deploy works for them.
Responsibilities:
- Own the global rollout program. Build and run the multi-year, multi-site deployment plan for physical security infrastructure upgrades. Sequence sites by risk and readiness, manage scope, schedule, budget, and dependencies, and keep simultaneous projects across regions moving.
- Turn standards into repeatable deployments. Partner with security engineering to translate technology standards and reference designs into deployment playbooks, site readiness checklists, and acceptance criteria so that every site rollout looks the same and gets faster over time.
- Bring a product mindset. Gather requirements from security operators, site security leaders, and regional teams. Run the program with agile practices: prioritize a backlog, define what "done" looks like for each site, iterate on the playbook, and measure whether deployed systems deliver the expected operational outcomes.
- Build AI-enabled tooling and automation. Develop or adopt tools for deployment tracking, configuration standards checks, device health monitoring, and asset and lifecycle management across the global fleet. Use AI tools and agents to speed up program work such as site assessments, status reporting, risk identification, and documentation. Ensure deployed systems, including AI video analytics, produce data that integrates cleanly with the team's security operations data platform.
- Coordinate partners and integrators. Manage external integrators and contractors through statements of work, schedules, and quality checks. Coordinate closely with IT and network teams, Information Security (for device hardening and network segmentation), Facilities and construction teams (especially for new fab builds), and EHS.
- Govern and verify. Establish a governance cadence for the program, track site compliance against security technology standards, and run post-deployment audits to confirm systems are installed, configured, and operating as designed.
- Manage risk and change. Identify and raise program risks early, drive decisions to resolution, and plan for operator training and cutover so new systems are adopted, not just installed.
- Report to leadership. Build clear metrics and dashboards on rollout progress, spend, site compliance, and system health. Present status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership in concise, executive-ready form.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in software product management or software engineering, including ownership of delivering a product or platform to users.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery with multiple teams and external partners, including managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Working knowledge of networked systems, APIs, and integrations, plus scripting or data analysis skills sufficient to build tooling, automate reporting, and hold technical conversations with engineers and integrators.
- AI proficiency: hands-on use of generative AI tools (e.g., copilots, LLM-based assistants, or agents) in day-to-day work, with judgment about where AI output needs human review.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including building executive-level status reports and presentations, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience rolling out technology across many sites or regions with global teams (for example IoT or edge device fleets, enterprise infrastructure, or manufacturing systems).
- Experience with device fleet management, configuration management, or monitoring and observability tools, including applying AI/ML for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, or automated workflows.
- Experience with construction, facilities, or capital projects, including managing integrators or contractors through SOWs and acceptance testing.
- Exposure to physical security systems such as video surveillance, access control, or intrusion detection, ideally in semiconductor, manufacturing, or other high-security industrial environments.
- Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP).
