As the PM Reservations Agent, you'll answer telephone inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner, employ sales techniques in order to secure and process reservations for guest accommodations in a timely manner consistent with high standards of quality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer the incoming calls of all prospective guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding availability, accommodation types, rates, etc. and assign reservations based on guest preferences and availability.
- Input and retrieve data using a computer reservation system and utilize codes for efficiency.
- Answer questions regarding hotel facilities and services, local attractions, directions, etc. Communicate applicable deposit and guarantee policies as requested.
- Thoroughly read provided materials pertaining to group reservations, guest concerns, and property updates.
- Handle complaints in a tactful manner and negotiate resolutions such as alternative accommodations when hotel is sold out.
- File registration cards.
- Initiate reports and retrieve printed forms from computer.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
- Primarily sedentary role, may involve standing and walking for short periods of time
Wage: Hourly $19.00

Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
Experience :
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
- Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: OPERA, OnQ
