Background:
This internship offers an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary design team focused on developing crew-facing hardware and tools for human spaceflight. Interns will work on projects that range from early concept exploration to prototyping, testing, and design refinement. The emphasis is on understanding how hardware performs for astronauts during real-world use.
Interns will collaborate with engineers, designers, and users to address real hardware development challenges. The scope of the project will be tailored to the intern’s skills and interests, providing hands-on experience in creating innovative solutions for spaceflight applications.

Technical Skills:
- Concept development and design exploration.
- CAD modeling and physical prototyping.
- Human-in-the-loop testing and design sensitivity evaluations.
- Fabrication, assembly, and iterative hardware development.
