Job Description
Overview:
Visa is seeking an Analyst to be a member of the Visa People Analytics team. We build the data products, governed models, and self-service reporting that help leaders across the enterprise make better workforce decisions — from talent strategy and organizational health to the complex, high-stakes work of integrating acquired companies. Our team operates at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence, and human capital strategy, and we are increasingly leveraging AI-augmented analytics and modern tooling to scale what we deliver.
We value analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, clear communication, and ownership. We build solutions people trust and actually use — and we hold ourselves accountable for the quality, governance, and impact of everything we ship.
As an Analyst on this team, you will build and own the workforce analytics capability that supports Visa's mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integration; creating scalable solutions that connect people data across acquired companies and Visa so that integration stakeholders operate from a single, trusted view of the workforce.
This role will own the full analytics lifecycle: ingesting and reconciling data across disparate People team, Finance, and Integration systems; delivering polished reporting and dashboards that serve diverse audiences — from executive integration sponsors to People Business Partners. This is not a reporting-only role. The Analyst will serve as a strategic data partner to integration leaders, proactively surfacing workforce insights, building compelling data narratives for executive audiences, and shaping how workforce data informs integration decisions.
The position requires close partnership with People Business Partners, Finance, M&A, and People Systems to define requirements, resolve data-quality challenges, and translate complexity into clarity. The insights this role delivers will directly inform organizational design decisions, executive reporting, and integration milestones.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain workforce analytics solutions supporting acquisition and integration activities end-to-end.
- Design and lead data integration solutions that consolidate workforce data from People Team, Finance, integration systems, and manual sources into a scalable, governed single source of truth, including data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and modeling.
- Build intuitive Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting experiences tailored to the needs of executive sponsors, People Business Partners, Finance, and operational teams.
- Create governed reporting logic for headcount tracking, workforce movement, organizational changes, and integration milestones.
- Serve as a strategic data partner to integration stakeholders, proactively identifying insights, risks, and opportunities rather than responding solely to ad hoc requests.
- Translate complex workforce data into clear narratives, executive-ready insights, and actionable recommendations for People Team and business leaders.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize delivery, and resolve data issues collaboratively.
- Document data definitions, business rules, calculation logic, lineage, and known limitations to establish a foundation others can trust and extend.
- Monitor data quality proactively and partner with source-system owners to drive sustainable improvements.
- Apply AI and automation tools to accelerate data preparation, streamline recurring reporting, and scale analytics delivery.
- Contribute to broader People Analytics standards for scalable reporting, data governance, and user experience.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD).
- Power BI proficiency, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, visualization design, and workspace management.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, or large-scale organizational transformation.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytics requirements and scalable deliverables.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to data accuracy, thorough documentation, and responsible handling of confidential information.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, integration, and validation.
- Experience with Python or similar technologies for data automation, integration, and advanced analytics.
