Retail Security & CCTV Operator - West Auckland

Looking for a security role where attention to detail really matters?We’re looking for a reliable and switched-on CCTV Operator / Security Officer to join our team at a busy retail site in West Auckland.This is a permanent role, with a strong focus on overnight CCTV monitoring, incident detection and response coordination. You’ll also support the wider security team across day and evening guarding shifts.The set roster for this role is Wednesday to Friday day shifts and Saturday and Sunday overnight shifts, you must be available for these shifts at a minimum. We’re also looking for someone who can offer some flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.About the RoleYou’ll play an important part in keeping the site safe, secure and running smoothly. Working across CCTV monitoring and on-the-ground security duties, no two shifts will be exactly the same.Your responsibilities will include:Monitoring CCTV systems and identifying suspicious behaviour, hazards or security concernsResponding to and escalating incidents in line with site proceduresSupporting security staff with CCTV observations, footage reviews and incident timelinesCompleting accurate incident reports, CCTV logs and shift handoversMonitoring alarms, access control, contractors and after-hours activityCommunicating clearly with the wider security team, site management and emergency services when requiredSupporting guarding duties across day, evening and overnight shiftsProviding professional and friendly customer service when working in public-facing areasMaintaining confidentiality when handling CCTV footage and sensitive informationWhat We’re Looking ForYou’ll be someone who is observant, dependable and calm under pressure.
