Position Summary

Casago New Smyrna Beach is looking for a dependable, hands-on Property Inspector / Cleaner to join our vacation rental team!

This full-time, on-site position combines property inspections, vacation rental cleaning, and housekeeping support. You'll inspect homes after cleanings to ensure they meet our quality standards, assist with cleaning properties when needed, and help keep daily operations running smoothly by delivering supplies, managing inventory, and preparing cleaning kits.

Weekend availability is required , as weekends are an important part of our vacation rental operations.

What You'll Do

- Inspect vacation rental homes and condos after cleaning to ensure they meet Casago's cleanliness and quality standards.
- Identify and report cleaning deficiencies, maintenance concerns, damages, or missing supplies.
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to prepare properties for incoming guests.
- Communicate inspection findings and provide feedback to housekeeping teams.
- Deliver cleaning supplies, linens, and laundry to properties and cleaning staff.
- Organize inventory, restock supplies, and prepare cleaning bags for daily operations.
- Complete inspection checklists and document property conditions using digital tools.
- Work closely with the housekeeping and operations teams to ensure properties are clean, safe, and guest-ready before check-in.
- Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Reliable transportation to travel between vacation rental properties.
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or digital tools to complete inspections and communicate with the team.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay on schedule, and adapt to changing daily priorities.
- Availability to work weekends is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in vacation rental housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, property inspections, or professional cleaning.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and property quality standards.

Previous experience is a plus, but we're happy to train someone who is dependable, motivated, and eager to learn!

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation: $18–$50 per hour (varies by assignment and pay structure)

- Property inspections and support duties are paid hourly.
- Cleaning assignments are paid per unit.
- Total earnings vary based on the number and type of assignments completed.
