ALSTOM | MPC INDIA — JOB DESCRIPTION

MPC Fleet Planner

MPC Fleet Planner | Job Code: IN-PL-00

WHY THIS ROLE

Joining Alstom's MPC in Gurgaon means working at the forefront of rail maintenance innovation in India. You will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team that is building something genuinely new — a centralised intelligence hub that serves multiple fleets and product platforms across the country.

As MPC Fleet Planner, you will have the opportunity to shape how maintenance is delivered at scale, influence decisions that affect fleet availability for millions of passengers, and grow within a global organisation that is invested in developing its people.

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The MPC (Maintenance Performance Centre) is Alstom India's centralised centre of excellence for rail maintenance — leveraging digital intelligence, data analytics, and advanced troubleshooting to drive fleet performance across multiple product platforms and domestic rail projects. The MPC brings together Planning, Fleet Support, Digital, Smart Troubleshooting, and Industrial expertise under one roof, enabling smarter, faster, and more cost-effective maintenance delivery at scale.

As MPC Fleet Planner, you will be part of the team that keeps Alstom India's maintenance schedules running with precision — contributing to the centralised planning function that serves multiple fleets and depot locations from the Gurgaon MPC.

You will manage the 24-hour operational planning cycle for assigned fleets, ensuring maintenance is scheduled, executed, and tracked in line with contractual availability targets.

This is a role for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about getting things right — someone who understands that good planning is what keeps trains on track.
