## Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise and experience managing production systems at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js and React.
- Build robust backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Identify and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and code quality.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, React, and MERN stack development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience working on production applications serving large user bases.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, payments, or other security-critical domains.
Preferred Skills
- HIPAA, PHI, or PCI-DSS compliance experience.
- Payment integrations such as Stripe or Braintree.
- Event-driven architecture and high-availability systems.
- AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
