This is an advanced individual-contributor role requiring strong business judgment, analytical problem solving and the ability to independently navigate complex and rapidly changing supply-chain conditions. The successful candidate will combine supplier relationship management with disciplined execution, using data and cross-functional influence to protect Lam's business objectives and strengthen supplier performance.

What you’ll do

- Translate demand and business requirements into supplier execution plans, working with suppliers to align material availability, capacity and delivery commitments with Lam's manufacturing requirements.
- Manage changing and competing priorities effectively, continually assessing business impact, supply risk and customer requirements to reprioritize work, make sound decisions and maintain execution in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Lead supplier escalations from identification through closure, quickly assessing business impact, establishing clear containment and recovery actions, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, driving supplier accountability, and escalating appropriately when broader leadership intervention or business decisions are required.
- Identify supply risks proactively by analyzing supplier capability, capacity, lead times, inventory, demand signals and other operational indicators; develop mitigation plans before constraints impact manufacturing or customers.
- Apply independent judgment to complex supply-chain problems, evaluating multiple variables and incomplete information to determine practical solutions, make recommendations and drive timely decisions.

- Use data to drive decisions, developing and monitoring supplier performance metrics, identifying trends and root causes, and translating analysis into actionable recommendations for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Influence suppliers without direct authority, establishing clear expectations, challenging gaps constructively and maintaining productive supplier relationships while holding partners accountable for commitments.
- Support business continuity and supplier-risk mitigation, developing recovery and contingency plans and coordinating execution when supply conditions change.
- Communicate complex supply-chain issues clearly and concisely, including business impact, root cause, recovery plans, risks and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain awareness of relevant supply-chain, semiconductor and supplier-market trends and incorporate appropriate insights into supplier-management decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations or a related discipline with 8+ years of related experience; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or a Ph.D. with 3+ years; or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance, material availability, capacity, supply risk or complex operational execution in a global supply-chain environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with experience converting complex data and business conditions into actionable decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment and deliver results amid ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Experience leading complex supplier or supply-chain escalations and coordinating recovery across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Ability to build effective supplier and internal relationships while maintaining accountability for commitments and results.
- Working knowledge of ERP and supply-chain systems; SAP experience preferred.
