Senior Business Development Chef (m/f/d)

Overall mission:

Build deep culinary partnerships with customers to co-create menu solutions that increases business growth.

Lead customer collaborations translating market insights into innovative, commercially viable concepts.

Be the culinary face of Givaudan, inspiring trust and strengthening long-term customer relationships.

You will be based in Kemptthal (Zurich) and report to the Head of Regional Innovation Europe.

You will:

- Build strategic partnerships with QSR and Food Service chain customers, being a trusted culinary advisor and brand ambassador.
- Translate consumer insights and our PPA into compelling menu concepts and commercially viable customer solutions.
- Lead culinary innovation projects from brainstorming through execution, delivering impactful prototypes, co-creation sessions, presentations and tasting experiences.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, FC&A and MCSI teams to identify opportunities, improve business growth and support regional account priorities.
- Create and convert customer opportunities through co-creation, business development projects and successful project delivery.
- Guide multi-country menu development projects, ensuring agreement on customer needs, regional strategies and operational requirements.
- Use culinary expertise, market insights and customer knowledge to provide scalable solutions that create value for customers and Givaudan.
- Champion culinary excellence by ensuring high-quality execution of presentations, prototypes and customer engagements.
- Maintain visibility and knowledge sharing through the use of project management and CI tools.
- Develop junior chefs

You:

- Culinary qualification and 8+ years of experience in Food Service, QSR, chain restaurants, hospitality, or the food ingredients industry.
- Experience developing menu concepts, leading customer-facing culinary projects, and driving innovation from idea to implementation.
- Experience with food service trends, consumer insights, and menu development for regional or international chains.
- Build a trusted relationship with customers and collaborate across commercial, marketing, R&D, and technical teams.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate customer needs into business solutions.
- Experience leading or coaching culinary professionals.
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel across the region.
