Regional Chains Chef (m/f/d)

Overall mission:

Guide the successful execution of culinary innovation projects for Food Service and QSR customers by transforming consumer insights and our priorities into scalable, customer-focused menu solutions.

You will be based in Kemptthal and report to the Senior Business Development Chef.

You will:

- Support the Senior Business Development Chef and the culinary team in accomplishing the Food Service and QSR strategy through customer-focused culinary projects.
- Align daily activities with commercial and innovation priorities, contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Translate our PPA into menu concepts that showcase flavour, texture and sensory leadership.
- Contribute to trend scouting, concept development and innovation initiatives relevant to QSR and foodservice operators.
- Develop prototypes, tastings and culinary showcases that bring innovation to life through consumer-relevant experiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, FC&A and Technical teams to transform concepts into scalable menu solutions.
- Support customer engagement through compelling culinary storytelling, presentations and sensory experiences.
- Promote co-creation activities and contribute to project inflow and pipeline development.
- Coordinate project logistics, workshops, tastings and customer visits, ensuring and high-quality execution.
- Maintain an organised kitchen and lab environment, ensuring efficient workflows, traceability and compliance.
- Use digital tools to manage recipes, samples, costings and sensory documentation.
- Apply an understanding of commercial considerations when developing culinary recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement through documentation, feedback collection and knowledge sharing.
- Build expertise in market trends, menu inspiration and category insights to support reactive and proactive innovation.
- Foster collaboration across regional and global culinary, commercial, marketing, product development and operations teams.
- Demonstrate curiosity and teamwork while contributing to a culture of culinary excellence.

You:

- Culinary or food engineering qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in Food Service, QSR, hospitality, or the food industry.
- Experience with culinary innovation and consumer trends.
- Experience in recipe, menu or concept development.
- Collaborative attitude across departments and with customers.
- Experience with food safety and quality standards.
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel across the region occasionally.
