Key Responsibilities
Crating & Packing: Build custom wooden crates and pallets to secure items safely for transport.
Lumber Preparation: Measure, mark, and cut wood precisely using table saws, miter saws, and band saws.
Assembly: Construct wooden structures and sub-assemblies following blueprints or verbal specifications.
Tool Operation: Safely and efficiently operate pneumatic nail guns, drills, routers, sanders, and standard hand tools.
Core Qualifications
Handiness: Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven track record of general physical work or carpentry.
Precision: Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16" and execute clean, accurate cuts.
Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended shifts, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Safety First: Strict adherence to shop safety guidelines, including constant use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.50 Per Hour
