Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout and fabrication requirements.
- Perform structural steel fitting and welding according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and track torches safely and efficiently.
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of structural steel fabrication experience (required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to set up and operate a track torch.
- Ability to pass all Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) tests.
- Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
