As a Data Consultant specializing in Data Governance, you will design, implement, and maintain data governance and data management processes for clients. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and execute communication plans, as well as working with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Data Governance Processes: Develop and maintain data governance and data management processes for clients, ensuring effective data quality and metadata management. • Conduct Stakeholder Analysis: Analyze stakeholder needs, develop communication plans, and execute communications to ensure successful implementation of data governance processes. • Create Metadata Management Repositories: Design and implement metadata management repositories to capture business and data quality rules, and create data quality reports and dashboards. • Implement Data Quality Rules: Collaborate with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting, ensuring accurate and reliable data. • Facilitate Issue Resolution: Operate issue tracking processes and facilitate resolution with clients, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of data-related issues.    *This job can be performed from anywhere in the US. • Data Governance Process Design: Experience with designing and implementing data governance and data management processes, including data quality and metadata management. • Stakeholder Analysis and Communication: Experience in conducting stakeholder analysis, developing communication plans, and executing communications to support data governance initiatives. • Metadata Management Repository Development: Experience with creating and implementing metadata management repositories to capture business and data quality rules. • Data Quality Rule Implementation: Experience working with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting. • Data Governance Technology Foundation: Experience with data governance technologies (Snowflake) for data quality and metadata management, including issue tracking processes. • Snowflake experience • DAMA-DMBOK • Data Governance Technology Expertise: Experience with data governance technologies for data quality and metadata management, including issue tracking processes, to support the design and implementation of data governance processes. • Advanced Metadata Management: Experience creating and implementing complex metadata management repositories to capture business and data quality rules, enabling effective data quality reporting and dashboarding. • Technical Collaboration: Experience working with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting, ensuring seamless integration of data governance processes with existing systems.
