About the job:

Responsible to provide data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic procurement decisions, optimize sourcing strategies, and drive continuous improvement within the procurement process. Also, responsible to analyze data, assess market trends, and manage risks to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement practices, ultimately contributing to the organization's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex procurement initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Design and implement strategic sourcing plans using market intelligence and supplier analysis to drive value creation and operational efficiency.
- Participate in process improvement teams by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to streamline procurement workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and process metrics through dashboards and reports to monitor procurement KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive innovation across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle by adopting automation tools and process redesign to reduce cycle times and optimize costs.
- Enhance procurement systems, policies, and procedures by conducting gap analyses and benchmarking best practices to improve operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with leadership to define project goals and resource requirements through structured planning sessions to support high-impact procurement initiatives.
- Conduct cost analyses using customized financial models to support RFPs, pricing strategies, and strategic sourcing decisions.
- Maintain centralized tracking of baseline spend across sourcing categories using spend analytics tools to support negotiation strategies and supplier management.
- Integrate data from multiple sources using BI tools and procurement platforms to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Build financial models for margin analysis and profitability assessments using historical data and forecasting techniques to support line management decisions.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and summary reports using visual storytelling and data insights to communicate procurement performance to MATAR Management.
- Monitor cost reduction initiatives through regular reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure

alignment with strategic goals.
- Support line manager in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing procurement data and trend analysis to facilitate accurate financial planning.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities by conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Deliver actionable insights using procurement dashboards and analytics to inform strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and Business Units through regular alignment meetings to ensure procurement strategies comply with enterprise-wide policies.
- Monitor supplier risk and performance using scorecards and audits and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
- Champion digital transformation by piloting and integrating e-sourcing platforms and spend analytics tools to improve procurement visibility and decision-making.
- Develop procurement intelligence reports including Spend Category Opportunity Assessments and Market Profiles using structured research to support SLA compliance.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain or related filed.
- Experience in procurement software, data analysis tools, market research studies.
- Certificate in procurement and supply operations.
- Previous experience in aviation industry.
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and draw conclusions.
- Command of English language.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Managerial skills -Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
