About this role

We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents.

We're the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer.

Our team is extremely talent-dense. Among our founding team, we have world-class competitive programmers, former founders, and leaders from companies at the cutting edge of AI including Scale AI, Palantir, Cursor, Waymo, Tesla, Lunchclub, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Nuro.

Building Devin is just the first step—our hardest challenges still lie ahead. If you’re excited to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and build AI that can reason on real-world tasks, apply to join us.

Cognition is the company behind Devin, the AI software engineer. We’re hiring an Executive Engagement Program Manager to coordinate how our executives, Field CTOs and Managing Directors participate in our global executive programs.

You’ll start with a plan for each leader: their expertise, priority audiences and relationships, key forums and available time. You’ll turn those plans into a coordinated calendar across summits, customer advisory boards, executive sponsorship, briefings, dinners and major industry gatherings.

A strong working partnership with Sales is essential. You’ll need to understand account priorities, ask the right questions about requests and make sound recommendations about where executive involvement will be most valuable. You’ll balance those needs with our program goals and executive capacity, communicating tradeoffs clearly and pushing back constructively when needed.

This role sits within Executive Engagement and works closely with program owners, executive assistants, regional marketing, Events and Communications. You’ll bring structure and continuity to the portfolio so our leaders spend their time thoughtfully and each customer interaction builds on the last.

What you’ll do

- Build executive engagement plans. Understand each leader’s priorities, expertise, existing relationships and capacity, then maintain a proactive plan for their participation.
- Partner with Sales on priorities. Build trust with sales leaders and account teams. Understand which senior relationships matter, the customer’s priorities and why a particular executive or program would be valuable.
- Manage and prioritize requests. Establish a clear intake process that captures the audience, purpose, relationship context, timing and expected value of each request. Assess requests against agreed priorities, executive fit and capacity.
- Exercise judgment and communicate tradeoffs. Recommend what to accept, defer, redirect or decline. Offer alternatives where appropriate and route assignment decisions and escalations to the right owner.
- Coordinate the global calendar. Align executive hosts, audiences, preparation deadlines and commitments across programs. Identify conflicts and gaps early.
- Maintain continuity. Keep a shared record of participation, feedback and commitments. Ensure follow-up has a named owner and carries through between programs.
- Keep the team aligned. Run planning meetings, surface decisions and report on participation, capacity and program feedback.

What you bring

- Experience managing executive programs, executive briefings, customer advisory boards or similar programs in an enterprise environment.
- A demonstrated ability to partner with sales, understand account priorities and translate requests into well-defined executive engagements.
- Strong prioritization skills. You can distinguish an urgent request from a strategically important one, assess competing needs and explain your recommendations.
- Confidence asking sales leaders and account teams for context, challenging assumptions and pushing back constructively.
- Experience working with senior executives and their assistants, with sound judgment about how to use limited executive time.
- Clear, concise writing and experience preparing executive briefing materials.
- Strong organizational skills, discretion and attention to detail.
- The ability to build practical processes and personally manage the details required to make them work.
