About Fulfillment IQ
Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.

We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, solving complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution. Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.

If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients and experts, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is a place where your skills and judgment come to life.

Marketing at FIQ
We are building a small, hands-on marketing team with one job: turn conferences and useful content into qualified conversations with the right buyers at brands, retailers and 3PLs. The team runs two motions:

- Conference and buyer events: we attend a conference because the right buyers are there and a practice has a relevant offer, and we add dinners, roundtables or expert sessions when that improves access to those buyers.

- Named-account campaigns: we pick accounts with our sellers, identify the buyer and a credible business problem, and reach them through content, organic LinkedIn, email, the website and coordinated seller outreach.

We do not run paid advertising. We work alongside an established media, editorial and community program (including the eCom Logistics Podcast and the CrossDock community), with in-house design support and a RevOps lead who owns HubSpot configuration and funnel reporting. We use AI extensively for research, drafting, repurposing and analysis, with human verification and clear accountability for every published claim.

The Role
You will own FIQ's marketing-sourced qualified pipeline number and personally build the campaigns that produce it. You set the annual and quarterly marketing plan with the Chief Strategy Officer and Sales, then you write the briefs, build the HubSpot workflows, launch the campaigns, review the funnel every week and fix what is not working. You lead a small team of specialists and in-house designers, and you stay in the work yourself.

This is a player-coach role in a company that measures marketing by qualified pipeline, not by activity. You will have real authority over priorities, budget and campaign design, and real accountability for the result.

What this role is

- Hands-on demand generation leadership for a B2B services and technology company selling to supply chain, logistics and 3PL buyers.

- Accountable for a marketing-sourced qualified pipeline target agreed with Sales and the Chief Strategy Officer, and for the forecast behind it.

- Owner of two motions: conference and city-based buyer events, and named-account campaigns supported by content, organic LinkedIn, email and the website.

- Owner of the marketing plan, calendar, budget, campaign standards and the HubSpot funnel definitions marketing shares with Sales.

- Manager and coach to a small team, with a RevOps lead, a Community & Media Lead and practice experts as close partners.

What this role is not

- Not a brand or communications role. Brand consistency matters, but pipeline is the job.

- Not a paid-media role. We do not run advertising and this is not expected to change in 2027.

- Not an agency-management role. You and your team do the work.

- Not a pure strategy role. If you have not personally built and launched a campaign in the last two years, this is not the right fit.

What You Will Own
Plan and forecast

- Develop the annual and quarterly marketing plan tied to revenue targets: audiences, offers, campaign choices, investment and expected results, by practice.

- Own marketing's qualified pipeline forecast with Sales and the RevOps lead: expected opportunities, conversion, timing and dependencies.

- Review funnel performance weekly and recommend what to scale, change or stop.

Conference and buyer-event campaigns

- Select conferences because the right buyers attend and a practice has a relevant offer. Set the commercial objective, target accounts, budget, meeting goal, seller commitments and follow-up plan.

- Connect each conference to pre-event engagement, booked meetings with target accounts, an adjacent dinner, roundtable or expert session where it improves access, and disciplined post-event follow-up.

- Decide, with evidence, whether to proceed, resize or stop an event.

Named-account campaigns

- With sellers, select accounts, identify the buyer and a credible business problem, and choose the offer or evidence that fits.

- Write the campaign brief and coordinate organic LinkedIn, email, website conversion paths and seller outreach against clear audiences, deliverables and commercial goals.

- Review conversion from reach to meaningful response, held meeting, sales acceptance and opportunity, and adjust.

Funnel, HubSpot and Sales alignment

- Define, with Sales, what counts as a marketing-qualified lead, what sales acceptance means, how fast handoffs happen and how sourced and influenced pipeline are recorded. Hold both sides to it.

- Work with the RevOps lead on HubSpot segmentation, routing, campaign tracking and reporting. You can build in HubSpot yourself and you expect your team to.

- Preserve the distinctions between marketing-sourced, partner-sourced and sales-sourced pipeline so the numbers stay credible.

Team and operating rhythm

- Lead and coach the content and field marketing specialists; brief and prioritize design work; set expectations and give direct, useful feedback.

- Run one campaign brief format, one shared calendar, a weekly delivery review, a weekly funnel review with Sales and a monthly spend and attribution review.

- Coordinate with the Community & Media Lead so editorial, podcast and community programs and commercial campaigns reinforce each other, with a single owner for every deliverable.

Hands-on delivery

- Personally produce campaign briefs, LinkedIn and email copy, landing-page requirements, HubSpot workflows, launch checks and performance reviews.

- Use AI heavily for research, drafting, repurposing and analysis, with verification and accountability for what ships.

What Success Looks Like
First 90 days

- Days 1 to 30: assess offers, active campaigns, assets, the funnel and team capacity; validate the first two campaign priorities with the Chief Strategy Officer and Sales.

- Days 31 to 60: launch one coordinated campaign; establish the shared calendar, seller commitments and HubSpot handoff checks.

- Days 61 to 90: review cohort conversion and spend; improve the second campaign; recommend targets and capacity changes for the year.

Year one measures

- Marketing-sourced qualified pipeline against the agreed target, with a forecast you can explain and defend.

- 100% of launched campaigns have an approved brief, a named seller owner, a budget, tracking and a follow-up plan.

- At least 90% of agreed milestones delivered on time across the team.

Weekly review of conversion, spend, opportunity progression and overdue handoffs with Sales and the RevOps lead, with performance improving from the starting baseline.

What You Bring

- Typically six or more years of B2B marketing, including integrated campaigns you personally planned, built, launched and improved within the last two to three years.

- Demonstrated organic demand generation in a complex B2B buying environment (long cycles, multiple stakeholders): conferences and buyer events, named-account or ABM campaigns, organic LinkedIn, email and website conversion.

- Fluency in funnel math and attribution: MQL, sales acceptance, held meeting, qualified opportunity, pipeline and bookings. You know what you can prove and what you cannot, and you do not count everything as pipeline.

- Hands-on CRM and marketing automation. HubSpot is preferred; practical Salesforce, Marketo or comparable experience is acceptable.

- Experience leading or mentoring contributors while continuing to deliver briefs, copy, workflows and analysis yourself.

- Strong writing, sound budget judgment and credibility with sellers, executives and subject-matter experts.

- Practical, verified use of AI with evidence that it made your delivery faster or better.

- Asset: experience marketing to supply chain, logistics, 3PL, or enterprise technology and services buyers.
- Paid-advertising expertise is not required. Demonstrable ownership and execution matter more than any specific title.
