About Fulfillment IQ
Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.

We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, solving complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution. Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.

If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients and experts, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is a place where your skills and judgment come to life.

Marketing at FIQ
We are building a small, hands-on marketing team with one job: turn conferences and useful content into qualified conversations with the right buyers at brands, retailers and 3PLs. The team runs two motions:

- Conference and in-person curated events: we attend a conference because the right buyers are there and a practice has a relevant offer, and we add dinners, roundtables or expert sessions when that improves access to those buyers.

- Named-account campaigns: we pick accounts with our sellers, identify the buyer and a credible business problem, and reach them through content, organic LinkedIn, email, the website and coordinated seller outreach.

We do not run paid advertising. We work alongside an established media, editorial and community program (including the eCom Logistics Podcast and the CrossDock community), with in-house design support and a RevOps lead who owns HubSpot configuration and funnel reporting. We use AI extensively for research, drafting, repurposing and analysis, with human verification and clear accountability for every published claim.

The Role
You will own the execution of FIQ's conferences, buyer dinners, roundtables and expert sessions, from brief and workback through on-site delivery, capture and follow-through. You will also run the HubSpot side of every event, so we know exactly who we met, who owns the follow-up and what came of it.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has personally managed budgets, vendors and live changes, and who can connect an event to its commercial result. You will work day to day with the Senior Marketing Manager, who sets priorities, budget and capacity, and with the Community & Media Lead, who directs the community and media programming you help deliver.

What You Will Own
Conference and micro-event delivery

- Build workbacks, run-of-show documents and contingency plans for conferences and adjacent dinners, roundtables and expert sessions.

- Manage venue and vendor coordination, registrations, shipping, signage, screens, printed materials and approved travel logistics.

- Track commitments, currency, taxes and service charges, cancellation terms, invoices and budget changes before they become surprises. No unapproved overruns.

Audience and meetings

- Coordinate target-account invitations and meeting schedules with Sales. Sellers own account strategy and personal commercial outreach; you make sure the right people are invited, confirmed and met.

- Manage RSVPs and the guest experience, including access and dietary needs, within the agreed data-handling process.

HubSpot capture and follow-through

- Set up each event as a HubSpot campaign; capture attendance and conversation evidence within 24 hours; distinguish a contact from a marketing-qualified lead and from a seller-qualified opportunity.

- Assign every qualified handoff to a named seller with a dated next step; track completion and escalate missed actions without taking over seller qualification.

- Report target-account attendance, held meetings, MQLs, seller response and opportunity progression at 30, 60 and 90 days with the Senior Marketing Manager, Sales and the RevOps lead.

Marketing and media coordination

- Maintain the shared delivery tracker and chase dependencies across content, design, Sales, practice leaders and partners.

- Support community and media programming under the Community & Media Lead's direction: micro-events, summit logistics, podcast capture on site and guest readiness.

- Coordinate executive availability with executive support.

Account-based plays around events

- Execute named-account plays tied to events: targeted invitations from agreed account lists, pre-event sequences and post-event follow-up, in HubSpot, with the Senior Marketing Manager and sellers.

Close-out and improvement

- Close vendor commitments and report budget versus actuals, target-account attendance, held meetings and follow-up status.

- Improve reusable checklists, templates and AI-assisted planning while verifying dates, names, quotes and permissions.

What Success Looks Like
First 90 days

- Days 1 to 30: audit the event calendar, committed spend, vendor terms and active workbacks; standardize HubSpot capture and handoff templates.

- Days 31 to 60: own an approved conference or micro-event workback, invitation coordination, budget and readiness checks.

- Days 61 to 90: complete delivery and close-out; review conversion with Sales and the RevOps lead; improve the next event.

Year one measures

- At least 95% of interaction records captured in HubSpot within 24 hours; 100% of qualified handoffs have an assigned seller and a dated next step.

- At least 90% of agreed operational milestones on time; no unapproved budget overrun; all commitments and close-out costs recorded.

- Held qualified meetings against plan for each event, and opportunity progression reported at 30, 60 and 90 days. Delivery accountability is yours; seller qualification and closing are not.

What You Bring

- Typically three to six years of B2B field marketing or event experience with personal ownership of budgets, vendors, workbacks and on-site delivery. Agency-supported experience is fine when you can show what you personally owned.

- Required: confident, hands-on HubSpot (or comparable CRM) use: campaigns, lists, meeting and activity logging, contact properties and follow-up reporting. You update the record yourself and you can show what you built.

- Experience coordinating conferences and smaller buyer gatherings with clear audience, invitation and follow-up goals.

- Accurate budget handling: quotes, currency conversion, cancellation terms, invoices and escalation before commitment.

- Calm decisions under time pressure and reliable coordination across sellers, executives, experts and creative contributors.

- Practical AI and template use that improves planning while preserving verification of dates, costs, names and logistics.

- Able to travel approximately 20 to 30%, including US events and some evening and weekend delivery.

- Assets: account-based marketing (ABM) execution around events: account lists, targeted invitations and sequenced follow-up; experience with supply chain, logistics or enterprise technology events.
- Paid-advertising expertise is not required. Demonstrable ownership and execution matter more than any specific title.
