About this role
The Coordinator, Accounting will support core accounting activities for a growing organization. This role will conduct general accounting activities related to preparing monthly financial statements, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank/credit card statements.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environments
- Prepare and post transactions for the corporate chart of accounts
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Maintain and balance the general ledger
- Receive and enter vendor bills
- Assist with the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist in month inventory reconciliation and periodically validate inventory across multi-site locations
- Comply with federal, state, and local SAFS Rules (Statement of Financial Accounting Standards) by studying and enforcing adherence to policies and procedures, filing reports and advising management on needed action
- Participate in all company trainings
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- One to three (1-3) years experience in accounting or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central) preferred
- Physical abilities to include the ability to lift 50 lbs (23 Kg), able to climb several flights of stairs and not affected by heights
- Ability to analyze data and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Excellent communication, organizational, management, and computer skills
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers

- Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility
