About this role
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical static and piping equipment (Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Boiler, Furnace, Tank, Valves, Piping, etc.)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Work supervision and and Participate in the inspection and test
- Material receiving inspection.
- Management of Sub-Contractor company
- Initiate ideas to reduce maintenance costPlan and manage of Planned/ Turnaround work
- Familiar with SAP System
- Prepare Permit to Work
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and on-the-job training.
- Assign daily maintenance tasks and ensure work is performed according to procedures and schedules.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to plan maintenance activities
- Able to used mechanical tools.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts usage
- Update and follow maintenance checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job safety analyses (JSAs).
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, regulatory standards, and environmental requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
- Respond to emergency situations if required
Job Requirements
- Min. D3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with min. 5 years’ experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry
- High School graduate or equivalent with > 10 years’ experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry can be considered
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
- Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon) and work extended hours if required
