This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Are you compassionate, reliable, and have great communication skills? Do you love helping people? Do you love working with youth and families? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you! We are seeking a patient, responsible, and thoughtfully communicative individual to provide support to a child in the Eau Claire Area. The ideal candidate enjoys physical activity and possesses an outgoing personality. This position offers up to 15 hours/week. Care would be provided in your home and the community! Schedule & Pay: Location: Eau Claire, WI Schedule: Mon-Fri evenings from 2:30pm-8pm • As needed weekend availability o This family is able to work with you & your schedule Wage: $14.13/hr About The Child She is an active child that enjoys outdoor play as well as arts & crafts! • Enjoys: o Baking o Climbing trees o Biking o Going to the park o Painting o Clay activities o Science o Pandas and rainbows Responsibilities • Provide reminders and monitoring of insulin levels • Provide supervision • Assist with meal preparation as needed • Outings to park/community • Foster a safe, supportive, and positive environment Requirements • Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance • Knowledge of diabetes care preferred, but not required (training provided) • Strong willingness to learn and follow care routines
