About the Opportunity:

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Surface Protection Operations Coordinator for their operations in Hamburg, Germany. This role is integral to ensuring the high-quality execution of surface-protection and sealing work of aircraft structures. It offers a hands-on experience within a cutting-edge aviation environment, focusing on both operational excellence and team leadership. Responsibilities

- Direct and coordinate surface-protection teams to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.

- Plan, sequence, and execute surface-protection and sealing work in accordance with Airbus and OEM standards.

- Ensure all operations follow precise process specifications and are properly documented.

- Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, including AS9100, EN9100, and ISO 9001.

- Coordinate with site functions to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.

- Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action to maintain production schedules.

- Support customer inspections and service-level audits.

- Provide on-the-job training and support skills development within the team.

- Enforce safety and environmental standards, including proper hazardous-material management.

- Maintain an organized, efficient, and quality-focused work environment.

Requirements

- Completed vocational qualification or equivalent experience in surface protection or coatings.

- Hands-on experience with surface treatment, coating technologies, and corrosion protection.

- Proficiency in surface-protection processes, including chromate conversion and protective coatings.

- Ability to interpret and follow controlled Work Instructions.

- Aerospace industry and LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.

- Knowledge of REACH regulations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
