Job Summary:
The Courier is responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate pickup and delivery of curriculum materials from the district print shop to American Preparatory Academy campuses. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that instructional materials are delivered efficiently to support classroom learning and school operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The position includes but is not limited to the following list of representative duties:
- Pick up curriculum packets, textbooks, and other printed materials from the district print shop on a scheduled basis.
- Deliver materials to multiple APA campuses according to established routes and delivery timelines.
- Load and unload curriculum materials at the print shop and APA campuses.
- Handle curriculum materials with care to prevent damage in transit.
- Maintain clear communication with the supervisor regarding deliveries, schedules, and any discrepancies.
- Report delivery delays, vehicle issues, or other concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Safely operate a personal or company vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and APA policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Up to 15–20 hours per week

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle and follow established routes and schedules.
- Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and care when handling materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and campus staff.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
