Assistant Manager - Design

Job Requirements

OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To develop project designs in collaboration with external architects and design consultants. Co-ordinate effectively with all stakeholders for timely execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To assist in the formulation of design briefs for the project.
- Coordinate and conduct design review meetings with external consultants.
- Periodically review project status and obtain updates from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Apprise all stakeholders on a timely basis for new developments, delays and corrections.
- Plan and ensure that work is aligned with the project schedules.
- Ensure all designs are in compliance with the municipal rules
- Maintain detailed records of drawings with an effective system to track revisions.
- Monitor progress of work at assigned projects

- Description
- Ability to gather relevant information from multiple sources pertaining to latest trends and developments in the industry across the globe and benchmark them against organisation's standards/processes etc.

Stakeholder Management

- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders (internal and external), understand their concerns, give correct requirements, set right expectations with an aim to get desired output for services hired / services rendered.

Real Estate Codes and Regulatory Compliance

- Knowledge of real estate regulation / codes / standards etc. as applicable to local engineering procedures and practices.

Creative Thinking

- Ability to re-examine traditional strategies and practices, and proactively looking for new ideas and ways to improve products, services, and work processes.

Design Management

- Ability to manage timely and accurate issue of drawings at each stage.
- Thorough understanding of drawings, raise RFIs, coordinate with Architects, consultants and other all consultants, should be knowing BIM operation.
