CCTV Trainee

CCTV TRAINEE / LABOURER – HAMILTON

START A CAREER IN A SPECIALIST INDUSTRY.

We’re looking for a reliable person to join our Hamilton team and train as a CCTV Operator.

You’ll work alongside experienced operators inspecting underground pipelines using specialist CCTV equipment. No previous CCTV experience is required – we’ll teach you the technical side of the job.

The role is hands-on and physical, with plenty of time on site. You’ll help set up equipment, prepare work areas, assist with pipeline inspections and complete general labouring tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Assisting with CCTV inspection of underground pipelines
- Setting up and operating equipment under the guidance of experienced operators
- Preparing sites and pipelines for inspection
- Recording inspection information and learning how to identify defects
- Completing general labouring and site support work
- Working around roads, construction sites and other active work areas
- Maintaining equipment and keeping vehicles and work areas tidy
- Following safe work practices and learning industry standards

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- A current NZ driver's licence
- A reliable and practical approach to work
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on outdoor work
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Basic computer and digital skills
- Comfortable working in dirty, wet or confined environments when required
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety

EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS AN ADVANTAGE:

- STMS or traffic management
- Drainage, civil or infrastructure work
- CCTV, pipeline inspection or surveying
- Operating vehicles, plant or specialist equipment
- Construction or general labouring
