About this role

HR Business Partner provides general human resources support for assigned personnel and/or projects or units, including staffing, retention, orientation, career development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, talent management and communications. Ensures that HR policies and practices are consistent with company standards and are correctly communicated and implemented.
 
HR Business Partner provides guidance and support to resolve supply/demand issues and provides input into resource planning activities.

Duties and responsibilities

- Work closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity, enable performance and retention

- Acts as consultant for the Leadership Team and other stakeholders, especially providing HR guidance

- Develop and implement HR policies, guidelines, programs and practices in: Employee relations, Organizational development, Compensation and benefits, Performance management, etc.

- Participate in HR strategy creation and implementation.

- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

- Handle HR systems, documents and Employee queries

- Address employee concerns and issues, investigate complaints, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including labor relations matters.

- Analyze HR and other relevant data (e.g., performance reviews, sales targets) to identify trends, assess performance, and inform strategic decision-making.

- Facilitate organizational change initiatives, employee engagement activities, and development programs.

- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.

- Perform other people related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Management and other related degree programs

- Solid (5+ years) work experience in HRBP, HR Generalist or HR specialist role

- Previous experience transacting with DOLE or NLRC in handling labor disputes and employee grievances

- Previous experience in exposure to performance improvement and incentive building

- Strong working knowledge or exposure to software technology, telco or the IT industry

- A high degree of professionalism, propriety and morale

- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage between day-to-day requests and proactively driving a more strategic people agenda

- Neutral and able to think critically in situations that are otherwise complicated in nature

- Experience in B2B Sales organization is a plus

Working conditions

- Home Office Location: Cebu City

- Some travel will be required
