About this role
The RISE Group aims to improve the quality of internet connectivity for the Philippines. Working with the Build Project team, Facilities Engineering Team, and Field Engineering Team, the role will see the applicant providing hands-on installation and reporting of various types of telecommunications related plant, as well as maintaining our facilities and fleet to a world class standard.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties
- Assist in producing designs and documentation on network facilities
- Lead, assist and ensure the accuracy of information and data reporting and recording
- Adhere and ensure adherence to installation standards
- Ensure proper updating and data entry of documentation
- Provide instruction to other team members where required
- Assist with inventory and materials for build outs and ensure adequate inventory levels are kept
- Assist with managing vendors for site install and ensure compliance to standards and wishes of the company
- Liaise diplomatically with building maintenance and represent the image and mission of the company
- Identify ways to improve our operations and reduce costs and improve services
- Assist with installation of fixed wireless or other telecommunications equipment
- Assist in maintenance and cabling operations of the data center
- Be available for out of office hours for repair and remediation or project work
- Follow and ensure safety and standards and company policies are observed and followed
Duties
- Inspection and reporting on condition of Electrical Installations
- Inspection and reporting on condition of HVAC Installations
- Installation, Inspection and reporting on condition of data center Installations
- Installation, Inspection and reporting on condition of Backup Power systems
- Installation, Inspection and reporting on condition of Fire suppression systems
- Installation Inspection and reporting on OSP distribution network facilities (Cabinets and
- Systematic structured communication with Project engineers, Designers, and Facilities Engineering Team
- Ensure proper use, care and maintenance care of tools
- Physical construction works related to facilities and fleet (service vehicles)
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with power tools
- Experience with electronics and electrical
- Experience with civil works
- Driver's License
- Brilliant applicable mathematics
- Database management and data entry
